The movie is silly. They drive all over this city being attacked at every turn.

For some reason, in the director's or writer's world, air support and reinforcements are not part of military doctrine.

Also, the Estonian infantry unit was in Baghdad, Iraq in 2004. There was about the same days of life and our coalition casualties there were quite significant. Konvoidele IED attacks, and there were daily events. Not quite as severe as those shown in the film, but with the same bloody though.
